Fifteen x Fifteen

I am thrilled that my gilded egg has been selected to be part of Fifteen x Fifteen, an international glass exhibition at Blowfish Gallery in Stourbridge.  This is the second edition of a biannual event, featuring 60 selected artists from 12 countries. With exhibits chosen from over 140 entries from across the world, the exhibition will showcase a diverse range of contemporary glass disciplines and approaches.  It opens on 22nd August, as part of A Celebration of Glass 2026.  The exhibition will then run in the gallery from 2nd September – 22nd October 2026, with the Online Exhibition continuing until November 22nd.

The Stourbridge area has been a major glassmaking centre for over 400 years and  a thriving industry continues there today.  A Celebration of Glass is a weekend-long festival celebrating the rich heritage, contemporary creativity and enduring craft of glassmaking.

Blowfish Glass Gallery is located in the historic Glass Quarter and for this event it is working in partnership with Stourbridge Glass Museum, the Red House Glass Cone, Ruskin Glass Centre and the General Office Gallery to draw visitors from across the area into its rich glassmaking story. Over three days, visitors can enjoy major exhibitions, artist talks, live glassmaking demonstrations, a craft market, theatre performances, workshops, open studios and special events.
