Purchasing, Delivery and Terms and Conditions
Ordering
If you are considering an order, please email me at louisetruslow.com or use the contact form. I will be happy to answer your questions, and to do whatever I can to make sure that you will be happy with your purchase.
The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for deciding to order. In particular:
– I photograph my artwork as accurately as possible, but variable lighting conditions and variations between browsers, devices and screen settings mean that the colours you see will never be a perfect representation. Further photographs can be provided on request, but please expect that the original colours will look slightly different.
– Measurements are provided as a guide, but particularly with 3D work may not be precise. If dimensions are critical, please discuss this with me before ordering.
Prices for artwork may change without notice. The price on the website at the time of ordering will be charged. Every piece is unique, and apparently similar pieces may have different prices.
I take payments in pounds sterling, either by bank transfer or by credit/debit card using Zettle Go. Please tell me which you prefer so that I can provide the details.
Shipping
Most orders will be packed and shipped within a week of me receiving your payment. The choice of carrier will depend on size, weight, destination and value. If you need delivery by a specific date, please let me know so that I can try to ensure that the parcel reaches you in time.
Shipping is not included in the price of the work unless stated otherwise on the relevant page. The cost is determined by the weight and size of the work and the choice of carrier. I will find the cost and provide it before you place your order.
If you live locally and would like to collect the work from my studio, that can be arranged on request.
Customs Duties and Local Taxes
You are responsible for paying any customs duties, clearance charges and local taxes that may be due.
Returns
I want you to be happy with your new artwork. If the piece is not as you expected, please let me know within 14 days to request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for arranging and paying for return delivery to me using the same service as the delivery to you. I will refund your payment when I recieve the piece in the condition in which it was sent to you.
Damage
I carefully pack and wrap all pieces to make sure that they will travel safely. If you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please email me as soon as possible including photographs of any damage so that I can take this up with the carrier. If the packaging is obviously damaged, please also photograph this before opening, and if possible show it to the delivery driver.
